Spires Camp was a HUGE success this week. Forty-six young women had the opportunity to work with St. Mary University Head Coach Amy Beall. Summer band camp week is almost upon us! Remember, students who were ALREADY in band, can come to the 9 AM session to play their regular instrument, then stay to try a new instrument if they choose! This group is always small - bring your band friends and get your face back in shape!! Beginner students should just come to the beginning session of their chosen instrument. All of these groups will meet in the high school band room, and students will NEED to enter and exit from the northwest doors, as the commons area is off limits! Didn't get signed up ahead of time? That's okay! Come on down on Monday morning with your $10! Can only do part of the week? That's okay too! We just want to make some music together! Finale concert location: TBD, pending building availability. Stay tuned!

Three Lebo-Waverly students (Cira Plummer, Delia Simpson and Morgan Vogts) went to the FCCLA National Leadership Conference in Denver, Colorado last week where they networked, competed and immersed themselved in their new leadership roles by attending workshops. They also were able to take in a few sights. Congratulations Morgan on your outstanding accomplishment of Top 10 in the Nation! You make USD 243 proud! #itsagreatdaytobeabulldog

Coach Peyton Mitchell will host a parent meeting at 6:15 on Sunday, July 10th for any parents with questions about Rec Tackle Football. Please come to the south doors of the high school. We will have sign up forms available at the meeting.
