USD 243 Lebo-Waverly Juniors traveled to ESU last Friday for a Coffey, Lyon and Osage County Black and Gold Day. The students learned about ESU AND... they won the spirit contest which earned them the first spot in the lunch line!
Seniors and Parents don't forget the Coffey County FAFSA Completion Night is October 6th at Burlington High School from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Bring a laptop and make sure both the student and one parent have registered for a FSA id at least 48 hours before filling out the FAFSA.
USD 243 8th, 10th, 11th and 12th graders will be participating in RealityU Monday. This is a live simulation on how to budget money as a 26 year old adult.

Lebo summer food service is serving tacos today and meals the rest of the week between 11:00 and Noon. Police training in the building will not affect meal service.
Reminder: There will not be Summer Food Service on Monday July 4th, 2022. Summer Food Service will proceed as normal on Tuesday July 5th, 2022 at 11am-12pm. Have a happy and safe 4th of July!!

USD 243 Sophomores travelled to Ottawa University on Friday! Admissions presentation, student panel and campus tour was phenomenal! I would say the lunch was one of the best they have EVER had! Thank you Ottawa University!

Reminder, Monday April 18th is an all day teacher in-service training day. Your school calendar may be inaccurate. This is a mid-year change. There will be no school for students Monday, April, 18th. Daycare is open but, check their hours. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Lebo and Waverly Schools will have a 2 hour delay Monday March 7th. No morning preschool and daycare will open at 10:00 am.
Waverly schools will close Wednesday, Waverly will be open Thursday, Lebo will close Thursday, The district will close Friday for state basketball. Daycare is expected to be open but check with your daycare to be certain. Good Luck to everyone at State!
Congratulations to WHS Boys qualifying for State! We are ordering state basketball t-shirts. If anyone is interested in ordering, email twilliams@usd243ks.org by SUNDAY NIGHT. Youth sizes/Adult size Small-XL: $14; 2XL-$15; 3XL-$16. Shirts will be shipped to Barton County where State basketball will be held and be distributed for those who attend. If you are not able to attend the game, purchased shirts will be brought back to WHS for distribution.
