Due to weather and road conditions, Lebo Waverly schools are closed today, Friday, January 10, 2025. Stay safe!
Due to anticipated weather conditions, there will be a 2-hour delay for all USD 243 schools on Friday, January 10, 2025.
• Buses will run 2 hours later than normal.
• Morning preschool classes are canceled.
• Daycare will open at 9:15 AM.
• No breakfast will be served.

We are writing to inform you about a data breach involving PowerSchool, the platform we use to manage student and staff information. On December 28, 2024, PowerSchool identified unauthorized access to certain customer data through their PowerSource portal, which is used for community and customer support.
This breach impacted data belonging to families, students, and staff in our district. PowerSchool has assured us that the breach is now contained and that no other PowerSchool products were affected. They have also taken measures to address the issue, including deactivating the compromised credentials, resetting passwords, and enhancing security protocols.
At USD 243, the security and privacy of your information are of the utmost importance. We are working closely with PowerSchool to understand the full scope of this incident and its potential impact. As of now, PowerSchool has not identified evidence of misuse or further dissemination of the data, and they are offering credit monitoring services to affected adults and identity protection for minors as a precaution.
In the coming days, we will provide more information about how this incident may affect you and the steps you may need to take. PowerSchool is preparing a communications package with resources and FAQs to help address your concerns.

Dear USD 243 Families,
We are excited to officially welcome you back to school! We will have school tomorrow, Thursday, January 9, at the normal time. Doors will open at 7:30 AM.

All new students, including Kindergarten students, interested in enrolling at USD 243 Lebo-Waverly can pre-register at https://usd243.powerschool.com/public/formbuilder/form.html?formid=739537 . This will be reviewed and approved by building administration within the month of July. Upon approval, in-person enrollment will be required. This will take place on August 1st, 2024 for Waverly Schools and August 2nd, 2024 for Lebo Schools.
Online Enrollment is now open for the 24-25 School Year for USD 243!! Please be on the look out for an email and paper mail with instructions on how to enroll your student by the end of this week.

We have made a change with the phone system at USD 243! When you call in to any of the school offices in Lebo and Waverly, you will be presented with new menu options. Listen carefully and select the desired office you would like to reach. Please note that the phone numbers to the offices have not changed.
Summer Food Service meal times EXTENDED through the month of June. We had such a GREAT turnout yesterday at both meal sites! Effective today, June 4, 2024 USD 243 will extend their grab and go lunch time from 11:00 - 11:45am. All ages from 1 - 18yo are welcome!
Summer Food Service is here!! Summer meals are available to all children ages 1 - 18 years of age at no cost starting June 3rd-June 28th, 2024 (Monday-Friday 11am-11:30am). WES will provide a grab and go lunch and next day breakfast, and LES will provide a grab and go lunch.
