Peyton has been nominated for Door of Distinction. Peyton was caught comforting a 4th grade student at recess. The student was a little upset about losing a basketball game, and Peyton sat down next to them and talked with them to help them feel better.

Gavin is being recognized for Door of Distinction. Gavin was walking down the hallway, when 4th grade student was trying to get stickers off of his locker. The other student was struggling. Gavin stopped what he was doing to assist the student. Just one of the many kind gestures and examples of how Gavin is “being the light.”

Tri M Honor Band performed at WES this afternoon in celebration of Music in Our Schools month.

The butter braid pastries sold by the WJH/HS band members are being delivered this afternoon! Students should have hopefully made arrangements to get their orders home today - we don't have the freezer space to store them at school long term. Anyone who wants to pick up their student's order before the end of school should be able to come get them around 2 PM! Thank you for supporting the Waverly Music Department!!

There will be an 8th grade meeting for students and parents with Mrs. Newton on Tuesday, March 28th at 6:30 p.m. in the commons. When the meeting concludes, this is a good time for parents and students to discuss 8th grade spring happenings that are sponsored by parents. Ex: Spring Junior High Dance, Reception at the Community Building after Junior High Awards Night, etc.
Join us tonight at Lebo High School for the LCL Band Clinic Finale Concert at 7 PM! Grades 7-12 band students will be rehearsing all afternoon to put on a show for you!
