Seniors and Senior Parent Reminder! FAFSA Completion Event at Burlington High School on Monday, January 29th 6:00-7:00 p.m. Experts will be on hand to help you complete your FAFSA for 24-24 school year. A document is linked in the 2024 Google Classroom that gives you everything you need to have to complete the FAFSA.

Nine Waverly Bulldogs traveled to Pittsburg this morning to participate in the SEKMEA District Elementary Honor Choir & Middle School Honor Band. They are going to work on some great music all day & have a concert at 3:00 (band) & 3:30 (elementary) at Pittsburg Middle School! #itsagreatdaytobeabulldog

Students who make the most personal growth, from month to month, in one or both areas, receive a red cape to wear for the day. Waverly Jr. High School hosted the first Quiz Bowl Meet of the season on Wednesday, January 24. Our JV team finished in 2nd place. Our Varsity team tied for 2nd place but lost the tie breaker for medals. It was a good first meet for our students. We have 19 students on the team.

Here is the newest addition of the JH/HS Newsletter. There have been a couple weeks with challenging weather, which have affected calendar, but the kids have responded well as we head into the HS LCL BB Tournament at White Auditorium tomorrow night. #itsagreatdaytobeabulldog

The LCL HS Basketball Tournament scheduled for today has been postponed until tomorrow. Our Boys will play at 5:30 and our girls at 7:00 on Tuesday at White Auditorium.

The KSU Concert Band Clinic concerts are about to begin! There are 17 Lebo-Waverly students who have worked hard to prep music that they only got on Friday night - truly a sprint in musical performance terms! Mrs. Herring and Mrs. Riecker are very proud of their behavior and performance this weekend.

The JH Bulldogs played their last games of the season today. Boys came out with a win and 3rd place in the LCL tournament. Girls fell to Burlingame but fought hard and improved a lot this season. We are proud of all you!
