Today was a busy day for our Bullpups and Bulldogs. We started our day with a combined Power Hour and then the Winter Edition of Bulldog Blitz: High School Heroes Unleashed! #itsagreatdaytobeabulldog

IN WITH THE NEW....our 2023 volleyball record holders added their names to the wall this morning during PowerHour. Addison Miller, Career Passing Efficiency, replaced Shannon Lee-2012. Josie Romig, Kills in a Match, replaced Katelyn (Rice) Haddock-2004. Morgan Vogts, Season Passing Efficiency, replaced Shannon Lee-2012. A big thanks to Katelyn for joining us for our presentation. Great job girls!

Waverly is hosting the PreSeason Basketball Tournament this weekend! Come watch our Bulldogs in their first basketball games of the season. Edited: Changed the time of game play on Saturday.

WGS 4th Grade Wax Museum exhibit will be Th., Nov. 30 from 1:00p - 2:00p This come-and-go event will take place in the WGS Cafeteria/Gym. Please help us in welcoming Mrs. Madison Davis to USD243 and Waverly Grade School! Madison is originally from Chase County and now lives in Emporia. As a soon to be graduate of Emporia State University, she can't wait to get into her own classroom and meet her students. A fun fact about her is that her go-to Sonic drink is a vanilla Diet Coke. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her husband and her two cats! She is excited to start building relationships with her students. Mrs. Davis will be the new 4th grade teacher at WGS, starting in January. We are so excited to have her join our team! #itsagreatdaytobeabulldog
