WGS students who qualified for the February academic improvement party got to enjoy some extra time outside in the sunshine, a sweet treat, and fresh air! Students were playing football, swinging, on the play equipment, and having a dance party!

Door of Distinction: This student is being nominated for her willingness and patience while helping fellow classmates. In math class this student has been a great help to some of her peers that were struggling on their math assignments. Door of Distinction: This student is nominated because since the first day of school, he has shown true and consistent leadership in the classroom! Each month, we focus on a specific character trait in the classroom, and the character trait for February was perseverance. He not only shows perseverance in his overall behavior, but he makes sure to encourage his classmates to persevere as well, especially when we are working on a very tricky skill!
