The WHS Freshmen Computer Science class got busy designing their final project for their HTML unit. In groups, they are coding a multipage website over a topic of their choice. A lot of work goes into planning and executing a cohesive website when you have multiple coders.

Today WJH/HS starts our Canned Food Drive, which is a class competition. All of the items donated will go back into our community. The class that brings in the most canned items will have a chance to put a pie in the face of one of our teachers. #itsagreatdaytobeabulldog
The Sophomore Class is making Dinner Rolls and Cinnamon Rolls again this year. They will be ready the weekend before Thanksgiving. Please find a sophomore students or reach out to the school if you are interested.

Kansas Career Expo
Wednesday, October 30, 2024 all USD 243 Lebo-Waverly freshmen will be attending the Kansas Career Expo in Hutchinson.
The following is an itinerary for the day:
9:30 Depart WHS w/ Mrs. Newton
9:50 P/U at LHS
11:50 Arrive and have lunch
Students will need money for lunch or may bring a sack lunch.
12:45 Arrive at Kansas Career Expo-State Fairgrounds
1-2:15 Kansas Career Expo Exploration
Concessions are available on site and students will need to bring money for concessions
2:30 Depart for home
4:30 Arrive at LHS
4:50 Arrive at WHS
Expected Dress: you may dress casually but NICE! Jeans, nice shorts and nice shirts are acceptable. Nice t-shirts and sweatshirts are acceptable. Please follow the dress code listed in the USD 243 Student Handbook.
