It's day 2 and we are rolling along at Waverly JH/HS! Parents and Guardians, please remember attendance is vital as we work to fill the gaps experienced due to the COVID shutdown. It is also vital that the office is contacted if your child will not be attending classes. Thanks!

PreK Parents- You should have received notification, no later than last Friday of whether their child was enrolled in the morning or afternoon session. If by chance you have not received that notification, please email Mrs. Malone at amalone@usd243ks.org.

Great news for JH/HS students at Waverly! We will use lockers this year!
USD 243 Lebo-Waverly schools will not require the wearing of masks at this time in school. Masks will be required while using school transportation. There is a federal order requiring masks on buses and school transportation.
Masks are recommended but not required for students under age 12.
Evergy has scheduled a power outage on August 18. This outage will last 6-8 hours in the Lebo, Waverly, and areas surrounding. Please plan accordingly!
1st Time Students are the only students that need to use the E-Collect online registration!! If your students have previously attended any school in USD 243, you need to login to your PowerSchool Parent Portal account and go to forms and complete the registration process. If you can't get into your Parent Portal account, contact your school office to help get you connected!
The WHS weight room will be closed after 10:30 Thursday, August 12th for cleaning. It will reopen Friday.
Waverly JH/HS have several families yet to enroll. if you need assistance with the online enrollment process, call the high school office to set up a time for help. 785-733-2561
Students will need to bring water bottles to school this year. Bottle fillers will be operating as usual. Water fountains will not be used again this year.

Tomorrow is the last day of Waverly Summer Band! Join us for a brief finale concert at noon, in the commons area of the high school. The morning schedule will be:
9:45-10:30 - Waverly Summer Band (the older students)
10:30-11:15 - All beginning students
