Coffey County Health System needs help with their annual golf tournament that raises funds for scholarships. It will be at Rock Creek Country Club in Burlington on Saturday, May 7th. Tasks are……….. Friday, May 6th, 5pm to 6:30 – assist with set-up Saturday, May 7th, registration starts at 7:30am and goes till 8:30am Game hosts – 8:15am till end of tournament. These people will run a game that is in addition to the tournament….games like spin the wheel for a prize; hit a ball into a target, pick a pea out of the bag for a score – these games are not set in stone but there will be games similar to these. Hosts will “entice” golfers to play the side game – the golfer pays a fee, the host tells them how to play and collects the money. If the golfer is a winner, the host awards the prize. Volunteers do not need to know anything about golf. If you are interested, please contact: Terri Tweedy Executive Assistant 620-364-2121 x4222 620-364-4575 (direct) TTweedy@coffeyhealth.org
