Waverly Schools has been asked to participate in Spread the Love. It is an effort to stock pantry shelves with spreadables like peanut butter, jelly, honey, ketchup, and other non-perishable items. Items in the pantry are used to make peanut butter and jelly and other spreadables sandwiches for homeless individuals In Kansas City and surrounding areas. Items will be collected through March 10. The class with the winning number of items will receive a pizza and pop party.
