Please help us in welcoming Mrs. Madison Davis to USD243 and Waverly Grade School! Madison is originally from Chase County and now lives in Emporia. As a soon to be graduate of Emporia State University, she can't wait to get into her own classroom and meet her students. A fun fact about her is that her go-to Sonic drink is a vanilla Diet Coke. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her husband and her two cats! She is excited to start building relationships with her students. Mrs. Davis will be the new 4th grade teacher at WGS, starting in January. We are so excited to have her join our team!

Door of Distinction: This student is always eager to help others! If a classmate drops their sharpener, he is ready to help clean up, even by hand. He is also a problem solver (asking for tape to make clean up faster). This willingness to serve others is nothing new for him. He has also really stepped up his work with his academics. You should be so proud of your growth, JJ!
