JH Spring Dance (hosted by 8th grade parents) will be Saturday, May 11th from 7-10 PM in the WHS Commons. Boys bring a snack to share and girls bring drinks to share.

For April, the 1st grade class character trait was Sportsmanship. This student has been nominated for the Door of Distinction for showing great sportsmanship. During PE and recess, she follows game rules, encourages her teammates, and has respect for her opponents! These traits also carry over into the classroom, which makes her a model citizen! Keep displaying those Responsible Citizen traits, Paizlee!  #itsagreatdaytobeabulldog

This student has been nominated for the Door of Distinction for always being on his best behavior. He tries his best in everything we do. This student will go above and beyond for his classmates and the school. He also helps clean up the paper towels in the bathroom every time he uses the restroom! We are so proud of the positive example you set, Brogan! #itsagreatdaytobeabulldog

This student was nominated for the Door of Distinction for the big improvement in her AR test scores, as she has worked hard to reach her goal. She was able to see some room for improvement, make a plan, and put it into action, and her scores show it in a big way! She has also been paying extra close attention during activities, always using her pencil to follow along as we read, for example. Last, and maybe most impressive, I have seen her going out of her way to help her classmates when they need it, especially during group assignments when a student has lost their place or is confused. She has really gone above and beyond to be a great friend and a wonderful example to her classmates. Keep it up, Kinsley! #itsagreatdaytobeabulldog
