📣 Strategic Planning Update
The USD 243 Board of Education would like to thank everyone who participated in our community input sessions for the district’s strategic plan. We had great participation both nights and received valuable feedback from our communities.
This input is an important part of the process as the BOE works to develop a plan that will help guide USD 243 over the next 5–7 years. 📚🏫
➡️ Our next step will be for district administration and teacher leaders to meet and begin focusing on the priorities and next steps that came from these sessions.

Food Service Update:
As we continue to adjust our food-service operations this year, we will be trying a new process starting next week on a trail basis that includes transporting food between our school kitchens. We want our Waverly families to know that student health, safety, and well-being remain our top priority. Food will be transported and handled using appropriate food-safety procedures, including proper temperature control, sanitation, and handling practices that meet all expectations from KDHE.
We want to make sure you have accurate information know where to go if you have questions. If you have questions or concerns about this process, please reach out to your building administrator or Danelle Foster, our Food Service Director.
