Ticket prices for bball games tonight are $5 for students and $6 for adults. NO PASSES will be accepted.

The basketball games versus Marmaton Valley will begin at 5pm Tuesday, February 19th@Waverly. The boys games will be held immediately after.

The basketball games @WHS have been cancelled. No Queen of Courts/dance. Crowning to be held Tuesday. Mr. Hevel's celebration will take place at the Community Bldg@6pm.

WGS will NOT be taking a supervised bus to the circus tomorrow. Parents are welcome to bring their children to the circus and use the SWest door. Paul Clarkson will be there to meet you. Be there before 9am.

A letter was sent home today with elementary students about chickenpox. Unless you were contacted by the school about your child missing a vaccination, they do NOT need another dose.


King and Queen of Courts 2019
If we play basketball Friday, Feb. 15, we will crown King and Queen immediately following the boys varsity game. If we do not play, we will crown following the regional games Tuesday, Feb 19.

All, with the chance of inclement weather Friday, there is a possibility that the games will be postponed. However, we are still planning to have a ceremony+reception with or without games. We know that many of you have made plans to travel (some from many miles away) and we want to allow as many people as possible to be apart of Mr. Hevel’s recognition. Please spread the word. Coffey County Sheriff’s office to conduct enforcement campaign near high schools beginning 02/25-03/08, Coffey County Sheriff’s office will join other law enforcement agencies in Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma with increased enforcement near high schools to raise awareness on roadway safety. Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for teens (15-18 years old) in the United States–ahead of all other types of injury, disease or violence.
Sheriff Randy Rogers stated all Seat belt violations will result in a citation during this enforcement period.

Students attending Youth for Music tomorrow need to be at WHS and ready to load by 7:10 AM! Dress in warm school clothes and bring your instrument, dress clothes, and money for lunch and dinner. The concert is at 7 PM in Albert Taylor on the ESU campus - free admission!

The JH Valentine's Dance scheduled for Saturday has been cancelled. There will be no make up date.

Because of the extremely low temps and the conditions around the schools, Lebo-Waverly schools will NOT be in session on Friday, Feb. 8. NO SCHOOL ON FRIDAY

Lebo-Waverly Schools will have a 2 hour delayed start time on Friday, Feb. 8 . School will begin at 10:00. No Preschool. No Breakfast. Please use extreme caution! Sidewalks around schools are still very slick!
