2nd grade was wrapping up a unit on the water cycle and one student asked, “What happens to the water that goes down the drain?” This question spurred a spontaneous field trip to the City of Waverly’s waste management system. The 2nd Grade class would like to thank Gary Giffin for his time and for sharing his knowledge with us today. It was a great opportunity to take what we’re learning in the classroom and put it into action!

Because USD 243 Lebo-Waverly is on a two hour delay tomorrow (12.17.19), it is up to parents and students whether students attend their FHTC classes tomorrow morning.
