JH cheerleaders will not be cheering at the football game in Madison tonight. All girls will ride home on the volleyball bus or with their parents.

If you haven't completed the 2020 Census, you have until the end of September to do so. The census numbers are used to
help determine the distribution of hundreds of billions of dollars in
federal and state funds. This includes hospitals, highways, and school lunch programs.

FAFSA Information Night
Presentation regarding FAFSA, what to expect after the FAFSA, and scholarship tips. Opportunity for Q&A
Attendees will need to register in advance at emporia.edu/live. Approximately halfway down the page, you will find a green box titled Financial Aid, and the Register Now links. Once registered, a link will be emailed to them which they will use to access the live presentation at the appropriate time. Participants are encouraged to submit questions in advance and will also have the opportunity to submit questions during the live event. The presentations will be recorded and available later to those unable to attend.
The registration takes place through ESU, and the presentations are conducted by ESU Financial Aid professionals; however, the presentations are neutral and the information presented will be applicable at any post-secondary institution they are considering.
*October 5th will be FAFSA Completion night for Coffey County.
This is a separate event.


In regards to parties/birthdays: Parents may send store/bakery bought or prepackaged items. Please no homemade items. Following the district Re-Opening Plan, treats may be dropped off at school, visitors are limited, meaning we currently can't have parents stay for parties.


HS Volleyball scheduled for Tuesday, 9/22 has been cancelled. JH games on 9/24 will still be played at Madison.
