Congratulations to Bulldogs Volleyball Coach Patrick on his 600th career win!
When asked to comment, Coach Patrick said, "I haven't won a single game. the credit goes to all the hard working young ladies I've had the privilege to coach throughout my career."
The Bulldogs will be back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Humboldt.
Kickoff for tonight's HS Football at SE Cherokee HS has been moved to 7:30pm.
WHS Football travels to Southeast HS in Cherokee, KS on Friday (9/4). Kickoff is at 7:00pm.
HSVB starts off league play 1-0 defeating Burlingame!! Our JV does the same making that a sweep on the night for the Lady Bulldogs!! #itsagreatdaytobeabulldog
The Waverly Junior High Volleyball and Football teams kick off their seasons at North Lyon County on Thursday, September 3rd. Volleyball begins at 5:00pm and Football at 7:30pm.
This Thursday, our Junior High travels to North Lyon County (@ Americus) for their season-opening Volleyball and Football games. Volleyball starts at 5:00pm, Football at 7:30pm.

We are beginning the next phase of our strategic planning process, and an important part of that work is hearing from the people who know and care about our schools and communities. 🏫
📅 On September 16th in Waverly and September 23rd in Lebo, we are bringing together staff, parents, community members, and board members for strategic planning sessions focused on the future of USD 243. We’ll talk about what is working well, where we have opportunities to grow, and what we want our district to look like in the years ahead. Both meetings will begin at 5:30pm. ⏰
🎯 The goal is to develop a clear direction for our district—one that reflects what our communities value and gives us a roadmap for the decisions we make moving forward. The feedback gathered during these sessions will help guide the Board of Education as it establishes the district's mission, vision, goals, and priorities.
🤝 We want a variety of voices at the table. Whether you have students in our schools, work in the district, or simply care about the future of USD 243, your perspective is an important part of the process.
