
Lebo-Waverly Wolfdogs Baseball won their first game at Regionals today! They play Marion tomorrow at 2p, at Soden's Grove in Emporia. Congratulations on a win, Wolfdogs!

WolfDogs Baseballgames have been moved to Emporia Soden's Grove for tomorrow and Wednesday games.


Regional Baseball games at Lyndon have been rescheduled to tomorrow, Tuesday May 16 and Wednesday May 17. Lebo-Waverly Wolf Dogs first game is at 3p Tuesday.


Regional Softball games have been moved to Ottawa University fields. Games start at 1:30p. Lebo-Waverly Lady Wolf Dogs are the 3rd game to be played.

Teacher Spotlight! Mrs. Nancy Riecker! Mrs. Riecker teaches music at Waverly Elementary and Waverly JH/HS. College: ESU. Enjoys: Gardening, Cooking and hanging out with my family! Hometown: Emporia. Years in Education: Taught in K-12 public education for 12 years, but was a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the university for two years before that. Fun Facts: Mrs. Riecker can speak French and before deciding on teaching music, she wanted to be a meteorological scientist!

Vet Med ROCKS camp will consist of daylong activities at Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine!

Today, we spotlight Janella Newton. Janella is the JH/HS counselor at Lebo and Waverly. Her schooling includes attending Kansas State University for her Bachelor's Degree and Emporia State University for her Masters. She enjoys Leaping Lemon Ice Cream, announcing at 4-H shows and giving out PROFOUND information, and BALLOONS. Janella's hometown is Lyndon, KS. She has worked in education for 26 years. A fun fact about Mrs. Newton is that she coached a state championship volleyball team and was 2A Coach of the Year in 2005.


For the Month of May, we are going to kick off Teacher Appreciation with spotlighting our teachers! Amanda Marsh is the 5th grade teacher at Waverly Elementary. She attended K-State. She enjoys cooking, crafting, and listening to music. Her hometown is Lenexa, KS. Amanda has taught for 14 years, but worked in education for 20 years. A fun fact about Amanda is that she was the first in her family to attend college.
