In Reading and Social Studies, Ms. Rolland's 2nd grade class is currently exploring how our community works together to accomplish great things. They have learned the different roles and responsibilities of individuals living in our communities, as well as all around the world. They are also learning to pull information from oral or written text. To expand their understanding the 2nd graders conducted interviews on members of our community. Following their one-on-one interviews, the students were given the opportunity to present their findings to the class, as anchors at the Waverly Fall Festival. (just a few of the many pictures)
