WHS Freshmen worked on problem solving strategies this week in Computer Science. They built aluminum foil boats and tested how much weight they could hold.

These two boys received a gift card from Grand Central Station for embracing the Bulldog Beliefs. They went above and beyond to be good humans. Thank you Alec and Jaxon for doing the right things. And to GCS for helping us reward our students.

Today was a day full of collaboration and fun for USD243 staff! After a morning of productive meetings, everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch, graciously provided by Emporia State Federal Credit Union and served by our very own board president, Todd Wallace, and board members Matt Hopkins and Katelyn Haddock. The afternoon brought out the competitive spirit with team trivia, where "Distrix 11" took the crown! Congrats to Kelly Stice, Stephanie Stone, Christy Turner, Vicki Rosine, Linda True, and Hannah Ferguson for their victory. Way to go, team!
