KSDE has changed the mandate requiring parents to complete daily logs for remote learners. Students will NO LONGER keep a daily log. KSDE is creating an assurances document for parents to complete and return to the school. We will have more information soon!

Waverly JH VB splits tonight at B'game. The Bulldogs beat Burlingame and lost to Lebo. Burlingame beat our WolfDogs in football. Travel to Olpe next week.

Please remind your children to bring their masks to school. While we have some disposable masks, we are now handing out 5-10 per day and our supply will not last long at that rate. Students were also provided 5 masks by the school. Thank you for your help in the matter.

Dear USD #243 Families, -USDA has announced that Summer Food Programs will be extended through the end of December or until funds are depleted. -Beginning Tuesday September 8th all breakfast and lunch meals will be FREE to all USD #243 students. Meals paid for on September 8th and 9th will be refunded. We will retain the money currently in student accounts for later use once this program expires. -Additional meal items such as milks will be charged at normal rates and are not free. -Remote Learners are included. Please contact your child’s school building to make arrangements. -Free and Reduces applications should still be completed.
