We had a great finale to summer band this morning: thanks to everyone who came out to see our progress, and all the students for their hard work this week!

Our week of Summer Band is coming to an end! We've been hard at work getting our faces back in shape, while also trying some new instruments and starting off some beginners! We'll present a short concert on the front lawn of WHS tomorrow, Friday, Aug 1st, at 11:30 AM. Seating is limited, so feel free to bring a chair or blanket!

This group of WHS Bulldogs just returned from a whirlwind trip including the sights and sounds of Washington DC, Gettysburg, and Mt. Vernon! There were too many locations to list here, so ask a student for their favorite part! Stay tuned for a meeting date in November for anyone interested in being the next group of travelers.

Here is the planned schedule for this week's summer band! We will not start tomorrow, Monday the 28th, due to conflicting circumstances. All current band members are welcome to play in the 9AM advanced band! The beginning groups are for incoming 5th graders who want to explore their band options, get a head start, or for current band members to try something new! Didn’t get previously registered? That's okay! Show up at the right time with your $10 (general fee for all to cover supplies) and we'll get you playing!

WHS Volleyball Alumni! Join us tomorrow for the annual alumni scrimmage on August 1st at 7:00 pm in the new gym!!! Doors will open at 6:30.
