The Going Merry Future Fund Scholarship is a $500 scholarship opportunity open to all high school students, grades 9-12. You can use this scholarship to attend a 4-year university, community college, or a trade school.

The funds can be used for tuition, books, supplies, or other education-related expenses. The application is simple, with no GPA requirement and no essay.

Deadline to apply: September 30, 2025.

Students and staff at Waverly Grade School had a wonderful time on Wednesday celebrating with grandparents and grandbuddies. A heartfelt thank-you to the East Central Kansas Agency on Aging for partnering with us to make the day extra special. We planted seeds in mini pots that students decorated. It was a meaningful experience filled with smiles, creativity, and connection!

Despite the drizzle and muddy conditions, the Lebo-Waverly marching band performed wonderfully this morning at the state fair! Congratulations on all your hard work!

Yesterday WHS had their first cross country meet at John Redmond. Jase Bailey finished 6th in his race. Way to go Jase and the other XC runners!
