Waverly Seniors will continue classes until May 1, 2020.
Junior High and High School students are required to turn in assignments for the core classes (For High School Students, these are classes that are required for graduation and will have required work): Math, English, Social Science, and Science. Grades are being taken in these classes and zeroes are being put in the gradebook. Students are expected to complete these assignments or they risk failing the class. and repeating it next year or Seniors risk not graduating. The grade book will close on April 29th for seniors and May 14th for freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. Teachers were encouraged in the 4/15/20 faculty meeting to update grades as often as possible as the end of the second semester approaches. Teachers will begin to fill missing assignments with zeros to keep grades as accurate as possible.
Students please be contacting your teachers in any required classes that you have fallen behind in!

Hotspots are being delivered to those in need of internet connection. If you have requested one, you should receive it Tuesday-Wednesday. Charge it, turn it on, turn it off and then back on. USE FOR SCHOOL WORK ONLY!
Deborah Wilson was approved as the WHS Cheer Sponsor at the 4/13/20 board mtg. She will contact girls (8th-11th grades) interested in cheering through the WHS_Lady_Bulldogs Instagram account. Login and let her know you are interested!
Tonight we will honor the Senior class of 2020 by turning on the football field lights for 20 minutes and 20 seconds beginning at 8:20. Look toward the field to see the glow of support for the Class of 2020. Please stay safe at home.
