Lebo schools has a lot to celebrate this weekend. Several championships were on the line from little league football to  state cross country and state volleyball.  We would like to congratulate the 1st & 2nd grade flag football team who went undefeated to claim their league title. Congratulations to the 3rd & 4th grade football team claiming their league title. To finish the day the 5th & 6th grade football team claimed their league championship at Welch stadium.  Congratulations to all our youth football teams. 

Heading to the tough Wamego Golf course for the state cross country meet were the girls team and Caleb Durst individually for the boys team.  The girls started out the day with a 10th place finish and Kennah Speer medaling in the 18th spot.  Onto the boys race, Caleb Durst ran a strong race medaling in the 5th place position. Congratulations to our Cross country on an outstanding season.

Championship Saturday was capped off with the Lebo Lady Wolves capturing the first ever state volleyball championship in Lebo school history. Third time was a charm for the Lady Wolves after two consecutive runner-up state titles. The Wolves meant business this year clinching the state title. In the last set the Wolves were down but they never gave up and kept playing for the win. They dug down and found the heart they needed to secure the title.  Congratulations to the Lebo Lady Wolves, Class 1A, Div II state champions.

Lebo schools are proud of our student body for their representation this past weekend on the field, in the race, on the court and in the stands. Once a Wolf, Always a Wolf!
