Beginning of the Year Information:
At this time, parents may walk students into the building for drop off within the gym or classroom. Please try to limit your time within the building unless conducting office business or having a discussion with staff, as we try to return to “normal,” but also keep your children as safe as possible.
Students will be released outside at the end of the day, by their teacher or staff. It is asked that parents continue with outside pick up this school year, to reduce congestion within the lobby.
Bus students will be dismissed to the gym at 3:10 p.m. (masks required on bus- Federal mandate).
Mr. Riecker will be the After School director this school year.
After School will be available beginning Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 3:10p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
After School sign-up forms will be available within the Waverly Grade School office or contact the school office and a form can be sent home on the first day of school.
There will be an Open House at Waverly Grade School on Mon. August 30, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Students in NHS and Yellow Ribbon will provide childcare, on the playground, so parents can visit their children’s classrooms and teachers. There will also be a special treat for students on the playground. Be on the lookout for more information coming soon.
Preschool Information:
Preschool drop off (p.m. session) and pick up (a.m. and p.m. sessions) will be through the south east doors (by computer lab).
Morning Session- 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Afternoon Session- 12 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Mrs. Malone will walk students to the side entry and release students outside the south east doors to their parent/guardian. Students that attend Daycare will be walked to the Daycare room by staff.

Walkers and Parent Picked-Up Students:
K-3rd Grade- Students will be released out the main/east entry, by staff.
4th/5th Grade- Walkers will exit through the front main entry of the building. Parent Pick-Up ONLY with no siblings younger than 4th grade can pick up in the north gravel parking lot. Please drive through, heading east- toward Dane Street.
