Sports physicals are just as important to get ahead of time as school supplies. All students wanting to play in extracurricular sporting activities will need a new physical each year. Students will need a complete physical done before they can practice on the first day practice starts. NO EXCEPTIONS! Physical forms have to be on file and in the office before those dates with all signatures on the form. Please be sure to look at all pages of the physical because there are several spots for the athlete and parent/guardian to sign.
KSHSAA: To be eligible for participation in interscholastic athletics/spirit groups, a student must have on file with the superintendent or principal, a signed physical form. The annual history and the physical examination shall not be taken earlier than May 1 preceding the school year for which it is applicable.
Please get out and get those physicals done before practice starts!
