Once again, Coffey County 4-H and USD 243 had three State KAP Award Winners this summer!  Isaac Durst,  Lebo High School won in Shooting Sports through Western Heritage; Michael Lehmann from Waverly High School, won in Woodworking and Kaylynn Vogts, also from Waverly High School, won in Clothing.  The three individuals were recognized in June with a virtual Emerald Circle Ceremony. Coffey County had the largest number of KAP submissions to the State level.  Coffey County also had the largest number of Award Winners.  Among all the COVID gloom, here is a ray of sunshine for USD 243, as our students continue to strive “to make the best better.”
