Due to safety concerns expressed to administration, the traditional Halloween parade downtown will not be taking place this year. We will be having a shortened and modified parade.
Beginning at 2:00pm, classes will parade out the front doors of the grade school and walk east on 7th Street to the High School. Classes will then proceed south down the front sidewalk of the High School. Classes will continue west on the sidewalk along the south side of the High School (6th Street) and head back to Waverly Grade School for their class parties. Masks and social distancing will be required during the parade and class parties. Teachers and staff will do their best to monitor proper mask wearing and distancing.
Parents may drop off costumes, party treats, and supplies (if not sent to school with your child), at the table in the front lobby. Staff will deliver them to classes.
