Halloween Information USD 243

Costumes- It is recommended to keep your child's costume "simple," no make-up, etc. Parents will not be able to come in and help dress or put make-up on students for the parade or parties. Face masks will continue to be required. PreK might want to consider having students come in costumes. Mrs. Jones will send out information to PreK parents on Halloween plans.

Parade- We will take buses to the nursing home and do some kind of walk about OUTSIDE for the residents. We will then board the buses and head to the medical clinic and get off there and walk down Main Street and back to the school. Face masks WILL be required during the whole parade process and while on the bus.

Parties- Parents can bring in/drop off treats, etc. on the tables in the lobby. Parents will not be  able to attend class parties.  Only store/bakery made food items or prepackaged treats allowed, face masks ARE required unless actively eating/drinking.

These plans could be adapted or changed, depending on where we are at with cases closer to Halloween.  Information will be shared out to parents as soon as possible if there is a change.
