Computer with different students surrounded by books

Hello, Waverly Public School Families!

There are a few requirements that have been set forth by our Kansas State Department of Education, and we are asking for your commitment to help us successfully meet these requirements. Under these requirements, each at-home remote learning student and family will be required to complete the following:

  • A daily log for documentation of teacher contact and total learning time that meets or exceeds the required 360 minutes (6 hours) per day (any and all learning activities, not just screen time) .

  • Submission of the daily logs at least weekly in one of a few ways described below.

Daily Log Completion Options:

  1. Paper Copy Option: You may print copies of the log (attached) and complete for each day.

  2. Copy Option 1: You may copy the Google Doc version below for each day.

  3. Electronic Copy Option 2: You may complete the Google Form version below for each day.

Daily Log Submission Options:

  1. Scan and Email: You may scan and email completed and signed paper logs once per week to the following email address: (waverlyremotelog@usd243ks.org)

  2. Google Doc: You may follow the Force Copy directions below to set up your own Google Doc.

    1. First, please click HERE to create your own copy of our daily log Google Doc.

    2. Then, change the title of your Google Doc by entering your student’s First and Last Name in the title so that it appears like this example “John Jones Daily Log.”

    3. Finally, click “Share” and enter this email address so that this student’s log can be shared with the school: (waverlyremotelog@usd243ks.org)

    4. We have included 10 pages to get you started. You can copy and paste additional pages into your Google Doc as needed.

  3. Google Form: You may enter the information each day by going HERE https://forms.gle/NdmGMJYQKB9NjaE49
