          KINDERGARTEN ROUNDUP:
          If you have a child who will be 5 years old before September 1 and you plan for your child to participate in the Kindergarten Roundup this year please call 733-2551 and let us know. Your child will receive an invitation in the mail. Papers needed at Roundup or at enrollment in August include birth certificate, immunization record, Social Security number, and health physical. The health physical must be less than one year old on the first day of school.

          The Site Council will meet at 6:30 on Monday, April 19. This is the last meeting of the the year and the council will discuss the year, the Spring Reading Incentive program, Kansas Assessments, and some plans for next year. Patrons can now order yearbooks for next year.



          Kansas Assessments begin March 8thGrades 3-6 will take tests in Reading and Mathematics. Each subject is tested 3 times. All tests are taken on computers via the internet, The scores achieved on these tests will indicate whether we have met the requirements of No Child Left Behind. Each year the percent of students passing the test goes up. This year we need to have passing scores in Reading by 83.7% of the students who take the test. In Math we will need 81.3% passing. If we can stay in scheduke we will complete these tests by April 9th. 4th Grade students will take a Science test later i the spring


          Site Council

          The Family Bingo Night will be 6:30-8:30 on Friday, March 26th.
          Patrons can now order yearbooks for next year.
